AND then there is cat sailing...

Today's big adventure...deliver Blue Lizard the Nacra 5.8 from Changi Sailing Club to Mana Mana on the East Coast of Singapore. Quite a trip for little men but they all managed really well. The first time we had the hull completely up was a 'new' experience! But 3 hours later and about 25km's under their belt, they did really well. Even Junah was out on the wire with me. Bronson did well on the helm on the home stretch. Cooper managed to catch a few zz's on the trampoline! Kool, very.

Once at Mana Mana all the talk was about "when are we sailing again" not bad for guys who didn't want to go!

Banana Boating Sunday...

After a dash through the Jungle Adventure what better way to kool down than with a banana boat ride -  favourite with the kids on a Sunday afternoon at CSC! Obviously the Jungle Adventure did them well as it was no problem leaping off the jetty into the Johore Straits - even Juna! After all that adventure it was down to Cafe Cartel for a chow down on pasta... Oh well it will be Roti 'Crepe' tomorrow for breakfast again! Tomorrow will be 'boring' again as the rest of the kids here are still at school and those on holiday have already gone "back home" for summer...

Sunday Jungle Adventure

The Jungle Adventure in Singapore is to instill confidence in kids through adventure training. It's a pretty cool set up and naturally Cooper (Mr fearless) breezed through it easily! Auntie Gerry organised the whole thing and they really enjoyed it. Juna was a bit shakey at being off the ground and had to have the instructor escort him - but he still did it and guess that he will feel a bit more confident for having completed it!

Move over Tony Hawk!

At Ski360, Juna showed us his moves on the circa' 1990's skateboard! Two days later, he's pretty good on it and can even manage to skate down to Changi Vilage for a Roti Prata breakfast - a feat in itself as their french palette can accept a Roti as a 'Crepe'! Juna also made a new friend at the Ski Park - the young Chinese waitress really took a shine to him and came back minutes later with balloons for him!

Wednesday, 8 July 2009. Singapore

Today's little adventure was the cable ski park, which is a really cool invention and very popular!
Bronson didn't quite get the hang of wake boarding which is a surprise as he's pretty handy on a skateboard.
Cooper opted for the knee board and got the pop from the very first go! Unfortunately the small man Juna is under the age limit so had to be content with watching his bro's bite the dust.
Am not sure if it's the French schooling or not but, these guys never say thank you or please for ANYTHING! Which is a shame for sure...guess it will change cos' if it doesn't!..

Day SEVEN in Singapore, Changi Sailing Club

After leaving Eagle Ranch, Port Dickson, Malaysia we caught up with the weekend traffic so it made for a rather long drive down erhmm... 6 hours in total! But we felt for sure that they would enjoy a meal of Satays but no, to our surprise their French taste buds have not accustomed to eating anything local yet! We're staying at Changi Sailing Club and so they can hang out on the beach each day - and go 'surfing'...
Photos taken with a Nokia N73 - not too bad for a phone!..
